Staying at the Tamarind was an interesting experience, especially as a beach-loving Londoner. The location is excellent-just a 3-minute stroll to the beach-ideal for soaking up the sun. I stayed in room 1204, which was spacious, featuring a comfortable large bed, flat-screen TV, and a practical small fridge for keeping drinks chilled. The balcony felt a bit cramped with no seating, which could have enhanced the lovely side view of the beach. The staff were notably helpful and kind, offering a welcoming atmosphere. Large mirrors adorned both the room and bathroom, adding to the spacious feel, and the pillows were particularly comfy. While the luxury of this hotel is apparent, I can't ignore the price point. With nearby dining options and services like housekeeping and 24-hour reception available, it balances value with comfort. If you're seeking a mix of beach access and decent amenities without breaking the bank, Tamarind might be a wise choice. Just be prepared for that tight balcony!
